TOY REVIEW: Wolverine (X-23)

Probably the most sought after figure in this wave, Wolverine! or shall I say All-New Wolverine!

First Impression:

Haven't got the chance to read-up on the All New Wolverine series, but I did love X-23 during her run with the X-Force team. Just by looking at her reincarnation as the Wolverine, I'm loving her looks! The female Wolverine really does fit her! I'd always say to myself that I just need one version of every character, but this is another exception when the figure looks this good.

Here's the rest of the assortment for 2017 Mavel Legends Series Wave 1

Accessories:

Sculpt:

+ Great looking hairsculpt! Love how it flows!
+ Accurate sculpt details compared to her depiction in the comics.
+ Face sculpt is great as well.

Paint:

+ Great tone of yellow and blue used. Fits well with other X-Men members.
Nicely painted flesh tone and variation with the lips.
- A bit of sloppy paint application specially on the head where the blue meets the yellow.

Articulation:

It uses the MU X-23 mold so you get the full arsenal of articulation from head to toe.

MLS Wolverine, MU Wolverine

Overall Grade

This is definitely the one to get if you're only getting one from this wave. It's a great addition to one's X-Men collection. The fact that it uses the old X-23 body mold from MU, makes it a sure winner. This figure excels in all categories, and it does bring back memories of the old MU quality. If you happen to chance upon this figure, grab it!
