TOY REVIEW: Vision

Arguably the most sought after figure in this wave, Vision!

It's been years now since the first Vision figure was released in this scale. As any MU collectors would know, prices for the "solid" version of Vision has sky rocketed out of proportion and is considered to be one of the grails in this line. This is probably because of the wave being short-packed before. That being said, with the announcement of a new upcoming Vision figure, collectors had the light of hope to get one to fill in that spot without spending a fortune. What's also good about it, is that it's 2 per case! Meaning more chances for everyone to have it!

However, this version of Vision isn't technically the original one. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that this one is patterned after Jonas (Vision) from the Young Avengers based from the design. Though, it can totally pass up as any Vision on one's roster collection.

Here's the rest of the assortment for 2016 Mavel Legends Series Wave 2

It uses the new standard body mold for Marvel Legends series, meaning a cut back

Overall Grade

It's nice to have an alternative option for Vision with this figure, since the price on the MU version is gold nowadays. Even though it's the Young Avengers version, it would still fit well with just about any roster with Vision in it. I'm also glad that Hasbro opted to make him 2 per case instead of the reissued Ant-man.

Figure wise, I would have to say it's solidly made! Nothing exceptional about the sculpt, but it was made on point compared to it's comic counterpart. The paint is executed near perfection. The new MLS buck has a bit less articulation, but the proportion on him makes him a better looking Vision compared to the MU one. This is probably the best chance to get a Vision at a decent price so I suggest you pick this one up. Great figure overall.
