TOY HAUL: Marvel Legends Series - 2016 Wave 1

        First haul for the year! Finally got the first wave of the newly re-branded Marvel Legends Series! Really not a big fan of the name, it just make things more complicated with the 6-inch line. Just got the essential figures that I need from the wave namely: Spider-man Noir, Capt. Marvel, Triton, Ulik and Yondu. Left out the reissues and repaints from the wave which were Iron Man Mark I, Spider-Man House of M and Black Panther.

Recently just got this for my movie-verse collection. I wanted a Cap version that would resemble his looks from the Winter Soldier movie, and as we all know he did don his costume from his first movie again.

'Gotta love clearance' is a line that I live by. This is what mostly influenced collectors to dive into MU in the first place. I've known some who got into the line during the clearance period of the Iron Man 2 and Thor line. I have to agree, those were great lines back then! And at 200 a piece made it even more a steal!

2014 1st-Half Recap Marvel Universe Hauls ( January-June 2014)

Again it has been quite awhile since my last post. As much as I would want to do this regularly I just can't seem to find the time to squeeze this in. In the tone of Florence + The Machine's song, The 'Bum' Days are over. Being hired again for my 2nd job just this March, made it hard for me to continue blogging. But that didn't hinder me from continuously hunting for toys. So hopefully, with the right budgeting of time, I can post regularly again. Here's a little update of what I've been up to since my last post.

TOY HAUL/ CUSTOM: Random 1:18 Fodder Figures & Teaser Custom Project

Right after finishing my Penance custom, I had the urge to do more! I recently got these fodder set from an online seller in Facebook for the price equivalent of a single Marvel Universe's SRP. Got these immediately as soon as I saw it, since it was quite a steal for aspiring customizers like me. 

TOY HAUL: The Dark World Loki

        It has been about 3 weeks since the 2nd installment of the Thor movie franchise premiered here locally in the Philippines and I must say I definitely enjoyed the film's Lord of the Rings-ish approach. But it wasn't Thor who made the film memorable. Tom Hiddleston's performance as Loki was hands down priceless! He seems to be destined to play Loki just like RDJ is to Tony Stark. Since playing the part of Loki, he's now been the eye-candy of most ladies despite being the villain to Thor. 

TOY HAUL: Ultimate Haul Update & Stuffs 2

       Just when I promised to end my hiatus, I did it again. This time it's even longer. I can't believe it has almost been a year and 2 months since my last post, and boy did things happened. As usual, I've been busy with my work, which kept me from finding time to update my blog. But then again, nothing can stop me from hunting! It's what we alpha males do! uhhmm.. toy hunting that is. So here are the additional plastic weights for my shelves to support which I have acquired this 2013.

        Oh, and welcome back to me.. Yay! One thing's for sure, I'll be back posting reviews and updates more often and this time I'm pretty sure of that since I'll be having a lot of free time by the end of this month. So let's get on with the update!

TOY HAUL/ ARTICLE: Superhero Showdown Spider-man | Superhero Showdown Line

        Recently got hold of my third Superhero Showdown figure! Thanks to jedicholo's FS thread in PTK. I got this for only Php 200! Yay me!

        For those who aren't familiar with it, it's an old line created by Toy Biz the same manufacturer that handled the 6" Legends line before Hasbro owned the said company. It was released back in 2005, which includes a gimmicky game that involves cards and dice of some sort. Its scale is within 4" which makes it fully compatible with the Marvel Universe line.
