Out of MU's grave! Here comes the White Queen herself, Emma Frost!
This is one of the figures I'm glad to have come out after uncertainty. Emma Frost, together with Colossus (Juggernaut) and Astonishing Cyclops was set to be a 3-pack boxset to be labeled as, Marvel Universe Astonishing X-men. This was announced years ago, and was officially canceled back in 2013. Many speculated that it has something to do with the dispute and boycott of Marvel with regards to Fox's characters. However with the single release of the Astonishing Cyclops back in 2014 Wave 3, a glimpse of hope sparked the collector's faith on Hasbro with regards to this figure.

Emma Frost has played a lot of parts, from being a supervillain, an X-men, a leader, and also being romantically involved with Cyclops. She is definitely one of the most awaited characters to be made in this scale.

Sculpt:
+ Making the cape removable, so you could have her pose with or without one is a great option.
- Not really a fan of the hairsculpt. Could have had a better one. Perhaps more volume and flow?
Paint:
+ Glittery shade of white used gives an awesome look.
+ The subtle icy blue shade on the cape is a nice touch as well.
+ Decent paint application overall, no smudges or splotches.
- Could have had a better paint job on the face to make her a bit more attractive and sultry.

Articulation:
Emma Frost uses the modern female mold with the likes of X-23 and Scarlet Witch, which means you do get a lot of articulation on this one.

Overall Grade
I guess it's safe to say that Emma Frost is the 2nd chase of this wave after Deadpool. She's a bit hard to spot on the pegs next to Wade. Not a surprise, since collectors always wanted to have her ever since she was announced years ago. I'm so glad that we get to have her despite being cancelled years ago. I do hope that we get all of those figures who were planned to be released as a team pack (I'm looking at you Executioner.)
Emma Frost is a great figure to add to one's collection. She still has the modern MU articulation that we fell in love with during the Vonner era. A definitely must have for MU collectors, specially to those who have an X-men roster as she is an integral part of the X-verse. And just to throw it out there, we badly need more mutants! So I say get this guys, it's definitely worth it.
