TOY REVIEW: Morbius

The second reveal by Hasbro in this wave, the Living Vampire, Morbius!

First Impression:
For this wave, Hasbro teased us with silhouette images of these four figures in their Pulse website and revealed them on separate days.

Here's another one we can add to Spidey's foe. With his reveal, I was happy to add another villain. Wasn't really that surprised to see him, since the 6 inch line is a good barometer on whether which character choices we "might" get and vice versa.

Here's the rest of the assortment for 2016 Mavel Legends Series Wave 3

Each case consists of:
x1 of each Quasar, Roge, Hydro-Man, Morbius,
x1 reissues of Spider-Man, Armored Spider-Man, Black Panther

Where did I acquire it?: Kramer Toy Warden
How much?: SRP of Php 750 each / Preorder Php 4200 (set of 6)
Condition during acquisition: MOC

Accessories:

Sculpt:

+ Decent headsculpt.
- I don't get why they didn't just made the cape/wings connected with the collar at the back.
- Body seems to be too skinny.
- Would have been better if he had claw like open hands

Paint:
+ Color tone used is decent.
- Again, a lot of figure had some sloppy face paint application.
- Paint application looks really flat overall.

Articulation:

Size Comparison:
MU Spider-Man, MLS Morbius, MU Blade

Overall Grade

Morbius is probably my least favorite in this particular wave, and I'm pretty sure a lot would share the same sentiment. Love the character choice, but figure wise it's a "meh" for me. Nothing astounding with the sculpt, and the paint just made it worse for me. This would probably be the peg warmer of the bunch.

Accessories - n/a
Sculpt - 3/5
Paint - 2.5/5
Articulation - 3/5
Value - 2/5
Final Grade - 2.6/5
