TOY REVIEW: Rage

Marvel's luchador looking hero, Rage!

To start off, I have no background whatsoever on Rage since I've never encountered him on any of my read. However he's known to be a member of the Avengers and the New Warriors to name a few. His strength increases when he uses it in violent or aggressive ways kinda like Hulk in a way.

Here's the rest of the assortment for 2016 Mavel Legends Series Wave 2

Each case consists of:
x1 Gamora, Armored Spider-man, Living Laser, Daredevil, Rage, Ant-man (reissue), x2 Vision

Where did I acquire it?: Kramer Toy Warden
How much?: SRP of Php 750 each / Preorder Php 4850 (set of 7)
Condition during acquisition: MOC

Packaging:

Accessories:

Sculpt:

+ Headsculpt is on point to it's comic counterpart.
+ Great reuse of Thunderstrike's vest.
+ Unique belt sculpt.
- Could have used a chunkier mold like Hercules'

Paint:
+ Neatly painted lines on mask.
+ Nicely painted vest with shading and highlights with yellow lining.
+ Neat paint app overall.
- Could have added some shading on skin to add depth.
- Glossy torso.

Articulation:

Rage uses the new standard MLS mold. It's probably a retooled Bishop figure so you probably know what to expect in terms of articulation.

Size Comparison:

MU Luke Cage | MLS Rage | MU Absorbing Man
MIS Bishop | MLS Rage | MIS Thunderstrike

Overall Grade

I really love it when Hasbro releases these obscure characters. It would be great if they continue to produce the rest of the New Warriors lineup such as Speedball and Night Thrasher. Overall, it's a pretty decent figure. Not really a must-have, but a nice addition to one's collection. Would have been much better if it were bulkier, but nonetheless it's solidly made.

Accessories - n/a
Sculpt - 4/5
